Karachi: The price of gold in Pakistan on Tuesday experienced a significant decrease of Rs.600 per tola.
All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association confirmed the development by saying that reduction brought the current gold price per tola to 217,300 rupees.
Besides it, the price for 10 grams of gold has seen a dip of Rs.514, now standing at Rs.186,300.
The global market indicated a drop of 8 dollars in the price of gold per ounce, settling at 2,047 dollars. However, when considering Pakistan, a premium of 20 dollars is factored in, bringing the local gold price to 2,067 dollars per ounce, as reported by the Association. This development in gold prices is of considerable significance in the economic landscape of the country.
