The All Parties Huriyat Conference (APHC) and other Hurriyat organizations have called to observe the Black Day.

Srinagar: Kashmiris on both sides of Line of Control (LOC) and around the world are designating India’s Republic Day (Friday) as Black Day, highlighting New Delhi’s persistent denial of the right to self-determination for the people of Kashmir.
As reported by the Kashmir Media Service, the All Parties Huriyat Conference (APHC) and other Hurriyat organizations have called to observe the Black Day. Occupied Kashmir is set for a total strike, accompanied by anti-India demonstrations and rallies in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan and around the world capitals.
Imprisoned APHC Chairman Masarrat Aalam Butt and senior leader Shabbir Ahmed Shah both imprisoned in Tihar jail, have confirmed the appeal for Black Day to resonate across every corner of the territory.
APHC leaders and affiliated parties voted strongly condemning against India for releasing a region of terror, marked by widespread repression, continuous cordon and search operations, random detentions and constraints on commercial and social activities.
The leaders have urged the people to boycott all Indian celebrations, delivering a resolute message that Kashmiris reject the illegal Indian occupation and remain steadfast to secure their right to self-determination.
