Islamabad: Pakistan is presently experiencing the third wave of coronavirus which is said to be deadlier and more contagious than previous two waves.

According to National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), around 2,724 cases of coronavirus were reported while 65 people succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll to 20,465.
The total number of confirmed cases reached 908,576.
As many as 827, 843 patients have recovered from the disease with 4,243 critical cases.
Punjab
The number of patients swelled to 336,315 in the province with 9,875 causalities.
Sindh
The number of infections has surged to 311,766 in the province, while the death toll has reached 4,942.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The confirmed cases have surged to 130,644 in the province with 3,990 casualties.
Balochistan
There are 24,733 confirmed cases while 271 patients have died from the infection so far.
AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan
There are 18,940 coronavirus cases in the AJK while the death toll has reached 532. On the other hand, there are 5,516 cases in GB with 107 coronavirus deaths.
Islamabad
There are 80,662 cases in the capital city while 748 people have lost their lives.
