Islamabad: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced that banks across the country will remain closed on Monday i.e. February 5, 2024 on the occasion of Kashmir Day.
In the statement issued by the central bank, it is said that on the occasion of Kashmir Day announced by the government, there will be a public holiday on February 5, 2024 (Monday).

All the commercial banks will also remain closed on this occasion.
As a result of Kashmir Day taking place on Monday, banks will remain closed for three consecutive days i.e. Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
It is pertinent to note that the Cabinet Division published a list of all public holidays throughout the year. According to the list, February 5 will be a public holiday across the country.
