Lahore: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab arrested five terrorists during Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) conducted in different cities of Punjab in view of terrorism concerns.
According to the spokesman, CTD conducted 70 IBOs in various cities of Punjab including Mianwali, Hafizabad, Okara and Jhelum.
The spokesperson stated that the explosive materials, two IED bombs, 10 detonators, weapons and cash were recovered from the possession of the terrorists.
According to CTD spokesperson, the terrorists were identified as Sharafat, Yasin, Talha, Abdul Rehman and Aseed who were planning to attack various institutions.
