Imran, Shah likely to be indicted in another case today
It is reported that charges may be filed against Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the case related to the events of May 9.
Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi are likely to be charged in another case today (Tuesday).
According to the details, Judge Malik Ijaz Asif of Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) will hold a hearing in Adiala Jail today regarding the incidents of May 9.
It is reported that charges may be filed against Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi in the case related to the events of May 9.
On the other hand, the court has also summoned former interior minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.
It is pertinent to note that earlier in the cypher case Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood have been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment with hard labor each.
Apart from this, Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi were sentenced to 14 years in prison in the Tosha Khana case respectively and both have also been sentenced to seven years imprisonment each in illegal marriage case.
