Islamabad: Caretaker Federal Minister for Information Murtaza Solangi said that no guidelines have been given by the government to block mobile phones and internet on the occasion of elections.
In a statement, the caretaker information minister stated that false, fake news and propaganda are spread on social media. Security is a serious problem, Pakistan's determination to fight against terrorism has not decreased.
He added that elections have been conducted in Pakistan even in difficult and harsh conditions. Voting is required for patriotism, the people of Pakistan and the elected parliament will decide the political and democratic future of Pakistan.
