Ministry of Interior to temporarily suspend mobile services amid elections
The spokesperson further said that precious lives have been lost in the recent incidents of terrorism in the country.
Islamabad: Ministry of Interior’s spokesperson stated that it has been decided to temporarily suspend the mobile phone services across the country amid to general elections today (Thursday).
According to the details, mobile phone and internet services were affected in various cities including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Peshawar and Karachi before the polling process just started during the general elections across the country.
The spokesperson further said that precious lives have been lost in the recent incidents of terrorism in the country. That’s why strict security measures are taken to maintain law and order situation to deal with every possible threat
