Islamabad: The Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja stated that the Election Commission will not give any instructions to Home Ministry regarding the suspension of mobile and internet services today (Thursday).
According to the details, CEC questioned that if we open up the mobile and internet services somewhere and if an incident of terrorism happens, who will be responsible of that.
Sikandar said that there were incidents of terrorism in Balochistan yesterday (Wednesday), so it is the job of Ministry of Interior and agencies to review the security situation. He said that lets hope for the elections process to be completed safe and sound.
