Pakistani workers remitted 2.4 billion dollars in the first month of the new year.

Islamabad: An increase has been recorded in the remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis.
According to the statistics released by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Pakistani workers remitted 2.4 billion dollars in the first month of the new year. Remittances increased by 26% on an annual basis and 1% on a monthly basis.
The remittances in the first seven months of fiscal year 2024 were 15.83 billion dollars. While, remittances were 16.31 billion dollars first seven months of fiscal year 2023, added SBP.
