Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Monday issued notice to Returning Officer (RO) NA-58 Chakwal on the appeal of independent candidate Ayaz Ameer.
According to the details, a hearing was held in the Election Commission on the application of independent candidate Ayaz Ameer from NA-58 Chakwal during which the lawyer told the commission that they have Form-45 and according to that they have won. As per Form-45, the result of all the polling stations has been submitted.
Member Commission inquired if their point is RO did not prepare Form-47 as per Form-45. RO did not inform you even when Form-47 was being prepared? Lawyer Ayaz Ameer said that this is exactly what happened.
