The PML-N president hopes that they together will be able to get Pakistan out of all political and economic crises.

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo Nawaz Sharif and President Shehbaz Sharif thanked Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari over support to the PML-N’s candidate for the prime minister office.
Taking to X, previously known as Twitter, Shehbaz Sharif wrote, “Former President and Co-Chairman People's Party Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari were contacted by telephone. The tweet came after Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that he is not the candidate for the prime minister office.
“I cannot present myself for the prime minister office because the PPP does not have majority,” said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while addressing a press conference earlier today.
PPP has decided that while we are not in the position to join the federal government, nor are we interested in taking ministries in such a setup, we also don’t want to see political chaos in the country. The PPP chairman said that the PTI’s announcement made it clear that it could not form the government in the given situation.
He said that they would not demand the ministries but said that they would exercise their vote to the PML-N’s candidate for the prime minister office if they formed the government.
“The PPP is not interested in federal government,” he added.
The PPP chairman mentioned the challenges including the climate change being faced by Pakistan.
“We will form a committee to engage with other political parties to establish political stability,” said Bilawal.
He said that if the political crisis continued there would be a loss to the country, and they would form the committee to steer the country out of the political crises.
He said that there would be re-election if all the parties failed to form the government under the law. Bilawal said that in this election like the previous ones, there were allegations of rigging.
He urged all the political parties to sit together to find out the deficiencies took place during this election.
