Imran Khan’s interim bail in May 9 cases extended
The court accepted the request of the junior lawyer and extended Imran Khan's interim bail till February 19.
Lahore: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore Thursday extended the interim bail of former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan till February 19 in the May 9 arson cases.
According to the details, Judge Arshad Javed of the ATC heard the bail application of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in the May 9 arson and siege cases for which Khan's junior lawyer appeared in the court.
The junior lawyer pleaded with the court that as the former chairman PTI's lawyer is busy in the Al-Qadir Trust case in Islamabad, the legal team should be given more time to present arguments.
The court accepted the request of the junior lawyer and extended Imran Khan's interim bail till February 19.
ATC directed to complete the arrangements for the video link attendance of former Prime Minister Imran Khan from the jail on the next hearing.
