Islamabad: Bushra Bibi and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) founder Imran Khan approached to district and session court against the verdict of nikkah case.
According to the details, Bushra filed a plea through her lawyers Usman Gil, Khalid Yusuf and Salman Safdar.
The plea stated that the civil judge Qudrat Ullah’s verdict in nikah case is against the facts. Bushra Bibi’s indictment which was imposed on January 16 is also illegal.
Bushra said that her plea rejected without telling any reason. The civil court did not run the trial fairly. Bushra further said that she has the right to plea of discharge from the case. The complaint which was filed by Khawar Manika is 6 six-year-old.
It is stated in the plea that the same application was filed by some other person. The trial court saw the laws of approach. The law is being ignored regarding divorce. The statement of the complainants was changed with the passage of time.
“Mufti Saeed could not proof the second nikah of Bushra Biba and Imran Khan. The complaints filed after a long time and this makes everyone confused. Qudrat Ullah used his mind in a wrong way in court.” The plea added.
However, Bushra demanded that the district court canceled the verdict of trial court and discharge this case immediately.
It should be noted that the court gave the verdict in Bushra and Imran nikah case in which both were imprisoned in jail.
