PML-N has won 84 general, 19 women and four minority seats in the National Assembly.


Islamabad: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) released the party position in the National Assembly according to which Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has become the largest party in the National Assembly.
According to the details released by the Election Commission, PML-N has won 84 general, 19 women and four minority seats in the National Assembly. Thus, Muslim League-N is at the first place with a total of 107 seats in the National Assembly.
After the inclusion of independent candidates supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) became the second largest party with 81 seats. As the third largest party, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has got 54 general, 12 women and two minority seats.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) is the fourth largest parliamentary party in the National Assembly with 22 seats, in which 17 general, four women and one minority seat is included. Jamaat-e-Ulema Islami (JUI) scored six general and one woman seat and is ranked fifth.
Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) is sixth with four generals, one woman seat. Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) is seventh with three generals, one woman seat, while Awami National Party (ANP) could not get any seats in the National Assembly.
Earlier, the ECP issued the notification of seven out of 10 minority seats in the National Assembly, out of which 4 seats were won by PML-N, two seats by PPP, one seat by MQM-P. The notification of three minority seats could not be issued, as the matter of allotment of minority seats to SIC is pending.
