Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) nominee for Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur has decided to participate in the assembly as an independent candidate, reportedly.
According to the media reports, Ali Amin Gandapur has not joined the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC). He will contest for the election of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa without a party.
Ali Amin Gandapur has also submitted papers for the provincial presidency in PTI intra party.
It is also reported that Ali Amin has not taken oath to join the Sunni Ittehad, he is currently an independent candidate. After joining the SIC, he cannot participate in the intra-party elections of PTI.
