HSY objects Pakistani media for promoting Indian celebrities
Hasan Shehryar added that Indian celebrities are shown in our advertisements, they get coverage in our media but Indian media does not show us.

Karachi: Pakistan's famous fashion designer and actor Hasan Shahryar Yasin (HSY) has objected to Indian actors appearing in Pakistani advertisements and various other campaigns.
HSY recently appeared in a podcast where he discussed various topics including the deteriorating situation in Pakistan.
The designer said: “If I can set up my company and business with just Rs2500 while living in the same country, other people can also be successful if they want to stay in their own country”.
He stated no one leaves his house. Pakistan needs us, believe in yourself and work hard. Pakistan has always faced economic and political difficulties in its short history, but running away from home is not the solution.
Hasan Shehryar added that Indian celebrities are shown in our advertisements, Indian personalities get coverage in our media but Indian media does not show Pakistani celebrities.
Continuing, he said, “I don't have any problems with Indian people, but I have a rule that give respect and take respect. The media there does not promote our people, so why should we?” We have our people to promote.
During the show HSY further said that he does not care if his business will suffer if he tells the truth and if Indian fans will stop buying his clothes. ‘There are many beautiful people in my own country who buy my clothes,’ he added.
