Top TTP leader Mufti Khalid killed in Afghanistan: sources
Mastermind of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Mufti Khalid has been killed in Kunar, Afghanistan on Saturday, reports claimed.
According to the reports the TTP leader was shot dead by unidentified killers while he was travelling.
Mufti Khalid was a key leader of TTP and a close associate of notorious TTP leader, Mullah Fazlullah. He was also the survillant of TTP activities in Nangarhar province.
He is said to be the mastermind of many deadly terrorist activities in Pakistan including the attack on Bacha Khan University, the 2008 election rally and the Army Public School in Peshawar. He was a source of communication between RAW and TTP as well.
The late TTP leader belonged to Buner.
