Governor Sindh distributes bikes among victims of street crimes
He stated: ‘There is no executive authority, but I am still working. I want to provide maximum convenience to the people'.
Karachi: Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori distributed motorcycles to 208 people who lost their bikes due to street crimes across Sindh including Karachi.
According to the details, people who were victims of street crimes between October 1 to December 31, 2023 were provided with motorcycles by Governor.
Talking to the media on the occasion of distribution of motorcycles, Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori said that all the welfare measures do not include a single penny from government fund, the victims have been given motorcycles with the support of welfare organizations and philanthropists.
He stated that he had announced that he would give bikes to those whose were stolen or taken away. ‘There is no executive authority, but I am still working. I want to provide maximum convenience to the people,’ added the governor.
Governor Sindh further said that if he had the power, he would have called the officials and asked them why the motorcycles are being stolen, how are they being stolen? It is the responsibility of the state to ensure justice to the people.
In his address on this occasion, the Governor of Sindh also announced that one million people will have Iftar during the month of Ramadan this year.
