Israel agrees for six-week ceasefire in Gaza

Gaza: Arab media have claimed that Israel has accepted a six-week ceasefire in Gaza.

According to the senior US security officials, now the response to the cease-fire agreement is being awaited from Hamas.

Arab News also reported that Israel immediately agreed to a ceasefire after the US military dropped humanitarian aid in Gaza.

The US media stated that the senior official of the Joe Biden administration said that Israel has accepted the proposal of a six-week ceasefire in Gaza. During this time, they will work to establish a lasting peace.

During the six-week ceasefire, the hostages will be released. The release and provision of aid to besieged coastal areas will be made possible.

Hamas has previously called for a complete ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of Israeli forces.
