Islamabad: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has decided not to load-shed gas during Sehar and Iftar hours in Ramadan in Pakistan.
SSGC has announced the continuous supply of gas during the hours of Suhr and Iftar in the month of Ramadan.
According to the spokesman, Sui Southern will ensure gas supply in Sindh and Balochistan during Ramadan. However, the gas supply will be suspended from 9:00am to 3:00pm to maintain gas pressure.
Gas profiling will be continued to ensure better gas pressure during Ramadan as well. Gas will also not be available during night hours from 10:00pm to 3:00am.
The spokesman further said that every year the country's gas reserves are decreasing by eight to 10 percent. There is a clear reduction in the demand and supply of gas in the Sui Southern system.
