Lahore: Despite the ban on onion export by the government, there has been no change in its price.
According to the consumers, the official rate list has not been released in vegetable markets. Wet and small onions are being sold, the quality of onions is also poor.
It has also been stated by the consumers that onions are being sold at the rate of Rs250 per kg in Shadman market, Lahore.
Consumers added that onions are being sold at different prices, as in some places the rate of the vegetable differs to be sold at Rs240 per kg.
