Islamabad: The government has affirmed International Monetary Fund (IMF) to increase power tariff timely.
According to the details, the table talks between IMF and government are continued on third day regarding economic evaluation of the country.
It is expected on July 1 to increase the prices of electricity. The increase of prices in power tariff will be done with the monthly, mid and yearly adjustment.
Government confirmed to make a documented form of economy to generate revenue. A staff level agreement will be done in the middle of the next week between sponsors.
IMF persuaded to make sure the security of needy people under an agreement. IMF demanded to maintain the policy of market-based exchange rate and tightened the monitory policy.
