Last day of talks between Pakistan, IMF
According to reports, the IMF's executive board will approve the final tranche in April.
Islamabad: Today (Monday) is going to be the last day of talks between Pakistan and International Monetary Fund (IMF), the draft memorandum on economic and fiscal policies will be finalized.
The IMF mission is scheduled to stay in Pakistan till March 18, if necessary, the talks can be extended by one day.
According to reports, the IMF's executive board will approve the final tranche in April.
The annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank will be held in Washington from April 15, Pakistan will apply for a new and bigger loan program.
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb will attend the spring meetings of IMF and World Bank in Washington.
