Islamabad: Prime minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed to present detailed report of recent stormy rains soon.
According to the details, federal minister of economic affairs, minister of planning, chairman national disaster and management authority (NDMA) and senior officials of relevant ministries attended the meeting which was chaired by Shehbaz Sharif regarding the damage caused due to stormy rains.
Shehbaz directed the NDMA to complete the survey soon in collaboration with the provinces. He stated that the provision of government aid to the victims of recent rains should be completed soon.
He said that the aid should be delivered to the people in a very transparent manner after completing a joint survey it should only be given to the affected beneficiaries.
Shehbaz further said that the victims of recent stormy rains cannot be left alone at any cost because helping the victims is the first priority of his government.
