Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that India will have to restore the special status of occupied Kashmir.

In a statement, the foreign minister said that owing to its successful foreign policy, Pakistan is now recognized by the world as a part of solution and not a part of problem.
“Modi government will have to restore the special status of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K). India is faced with immense pressure due to its internal deteriorating situation,” he said.
Referring to his recent visit to Iraq, FM said that he briefed his Iraqi counterpart about the deteriorating situation in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
“Pakistan desires nothing but peace and stability in the region,” he said.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi termed the adoption of resolution on Palestine by the United Nations (UN) Human Rights Commission as a major success.
FM further stated that Pakistan enjoys cordial relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and it desires to further strengthen this relationship in future.
