The sub-inspector along with the officials stopped the MPA's vehicle with black windows. The vehicle belonged to PML-N MPA Malik Waheed and he himself was present in it.
The video of the conversation between PML-N leader and the police personnel came to light in which the politician said I am Malik Waheed, not an ordinary MPA.
He insists the policeman to apologize in front of the camera otherwise it will not end well.
Sub-Inspector (SI) Yasir and officials apologized to MPA Malik Waheed. Later, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Operations Ali Nasir Rizvi transferred sub-inspector Yasir to the judicial wing.
On the other hand, Malik Waheed said in a video statement that after winning the election, he had come to express his gratitude to the trader’s community in the constituency, and the policemen stopped his vehicles on purpose.
He stated that police tried to make fun of them in the public under the pretext of search. There was a political rally, ‘I am a public representative and derogatory behavior was adopted in front of the people’.
The PML-N leader added that he is a police friendly person and salute the police.
