Twitter takes steps to prevent hateful, promote useful content
Twitter in a new policy update has taken important steps to prevent hateful content on its platform and promote useful content.

The social platform says that the administration has further updated the Twitter Help Center to take action against intolerable and unsuitable content.
According to Twitter, the updated policies help prevent hate speech and harassment.
Sharing a tweet about the new policy on Twitter's official account, it said, “Our Hateful Conduct & Abusive Behavior policies prohibit abuse and harassment of protected categories, & cover a wide range of behaviors. We’ve updated the Twitter Help Center to more clearly articulate when we will take enforcement action moving forward.”

The company says the new policy covers all content it added while saying that, “Specifically, we do not permit the denial of violent events, including abusive references to specific events where protected categories were the primary victims. This policy now covers targeted and non-targeted content.”
