The price of tomato has increased by Rs100 to be sold at the rate of Rs180 per kg.

Quetta: There is a sharp increase in the prices of vegetables and fruits in the open market before Eid-ul-Fitr across the country.
As soon as Eid is approaching in Quetta, the prices of daily use vegetables start getting sky rocketing high. The price of ginger and garlic settled at Rs400, tomato at Rs100, lemon at 200 rupees per kg.
The price of tomato has increased by Rs100 to be sold at the rate of Rs180 per kg, lemons are being sold at Rs400 per kg with an increase of Rs200, and the price of onion has also increased by Rs40 to reach Rs180 per kg.
The citizens demanded the active action of price control committee.
