Islamabad: The election commission of Pakistan (ECP) has directed to provide the details of objections on intra-party elections of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
According to the details, a five-member bench heard the case headed by the chief election commissioner. PTI’s chairman Barrister Gohar appeared before the election commission.
Barrister Gohar stated that the PTI had submitted the details of intra-party elections on March 9. That is why the objections were not being told to the party members.
He also said that the if the objections will be told then a response will be submitted. On which the commission directed to provide the details of objection to PTI.
Later then the ECP postponed the hearing.
It should be noted that the ECP had issued a notice to PTI amid this matter on April 30.
