Karachi: The price of per tola gold Tuesday recorded a fall of Rs2,000 per tola in the country.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association (APGJA), after the decrease the price of per tola gold settled at Rs241,900.
While, the price of 10 grams of gold has declined by Rs1,715 to be sold at the rate of Rs207,390.
The reason for the shortage of gold has been attributed to the decline in the global market, where prices have fallen by $19 per ounce to settle at $2,316.
