COAS Munir addresses on Pak-UK regional stability
Asim Munir thanked Patrick Sanders for his services in enhancing bilateral military relations
Rawalpindi: The chief of army staff (COAS) general Asim Munir has delivered the keynote speech at the conference on Pakistan-Britain regional stability at the national defense university.
According to the inter-services public relations (ISPR), a conference on Pakistan-Britain regional stability was organized at the national defense university in which COAS Asim Munir delivered the keynote address.
In the conference, the British chief of general staff Roland Walker was also present while the designated British chief of general staff Sir Patrick Sanders was also among the speakers.
However, there were experts in various fields, defense officials, intellectuals and civil society representatives participated in the conference.
In accordance with the ISPR, Pakistan-Britain conference is an important defense dialogue between the two countries. A thirty-member delegation of Britain is visiting Pakistan from April 29 to May 3 for the conference.
The British delegation is led by the standing joint force commander major general Tom Bateman, the conference will discuss global and regional issues including national security, regional peace and stability.
In the conference, the COAS met with the British current and nominated chief of general staff in which issues of professional interest and issues of further development of bilateral defense relations were discussed.
Asim Munir thanked Patrick Sanders for his services in enhancing bilateral military relations.
