Wheat procurement: PML-N leaders to consult today
The party leaders will be briefed on the issue of wheat procurement
Lahore: The central leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will consult today (Saturday) at the Model Town Party Secretariat Lahore on the issue of the crisis regarding the purchase of wheat in Punjab.
According to media reports, party leader Nawaz Sharif and party president and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also participate as Nawaz Sharif has invited him.
The meeting of the central leaders of PML-N will be held at 2:00pm in the party secretariat. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is also expected to attend the conference while senior leaders including Rana Sanaullah and Khawaja Asif will participate in the important meeting.
Provincial ministers and relevant officials will also participate in the Model Town meeting, senior leaders and officials of Muslim League-N will also participate in the meeting, while the party leaders will be briefed on the issue of wheat procurement.
It is pertinent to note that earlier on Friday, Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Maryam presided over the meeting regarding the purchase of wheat.
It has also been reported that in today's meeting, the party's reorganization will also be discussed and the preparations for the PML-N General Council meeting on May 11 will also be discussed in the consultation meeting.
