The court said that the government lawyer failed to convince the court about keeping the children's names in the PCL

Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Saturday issued a detailed decision to remove the names of Farhat Shahzadi’s children from the Passport Control List (PCL).
According to the details, Iman Jameel and Faraz Iqbal filed an appeal against the single bench decision.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Anwaar-ul-Haq Pannu issued the decision.
The court said in the detailed decision that the government lawyer failed to convince the court about keeping the children's names in the PCL. The anti-corruption agency filed a case against the children's mother Farhat Shahzadi and others.
It has been stated in the judgment that Farhat did not join the investigation, both the children were under 16 years of age at the time of the trial, there is no justification for keeping the children's names in the passport control list.
The court mentioned the decision to remove Shehbaz Sharif's name from the ECL, therefore, the court allowed the appeal and annulled the single bench decision.
