Matric exams in Karachi, Section 144 imposed

Karachi: Under the Matriculation Board Karachi, the exams of class 9th and 10th have started today (Tuesday).

More than 3,68,000 students of ninth and tenth classes will participate in the exams for which 504 exam centers have been set up. There are 265 exam centers for female and 239 for male candidates of exams.

According to Chairman Matriculation Board, section 144 is enforced around the centres during the exams and the photocopying machines will not be operational around the exam centers.

Chairman Matriculation Board said that students should not bring mobile phones with them during the exams, in case of violation, the mobile phones will be confiscated.
