Pakistan to launch another satellite after iCube’s success
The satellite will be launched into space by SUPARCO and the National Space Agency

Islamabad: After the successful launch of iCube Qamar, Pakistan has decided to launch another satellite.
The new satellite MM-1 will be launched into space on May 30 which will lead the development of advanced communication systems.
This new satellite is capable of meeting the growing demand of the telecom sector and will also ensure better availability of 5G and the Internet.
The satellite will be launched into space by SUPARCO and the National Space Agency.
It is pertinent to note that yesterday Pakistan's first satellite mission 'iCube Qamar' successfully sent the first image from the moon's orbit, iCube Qamar made three rounds around the moon.
In-orbit testing of iCube Qamar's controllers, subsystems, and protocols is ongoing. The mission will remain in the experimental phase for five to six days after reaching lunar orbit, Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) spokesperson said.
Notably, iCube Qamar was sent into space with the Chinese mission Cheng6 on May 3 from the Henan Space Launch Site. Pakistan's satellite mission will orbit the moon for three to six months.
