Punjab ends motorcycle registration, transfer fees

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a relief package for the public by abolishing motorcycle registration and transfer fees across the province.

In her statement, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said that a relief package has been announced for the people of Punjab, and motorcycle registration fee charges have been eliminated throughout the province.

She further stated that motorcycle transfer fees have also been waived, and every registered motorcycle will receive a monthly subsidy of 2,000 rupees.

Maryam Nawaz added that each registered motorcycle will be given a subsidy on 20 liters of petrol per month, with a subsidy of 100 rupees per liter.

She said that motorcycle owners can call helpline 1000 to avail the fuel subsidy. She emphasized that efforts are being made day and night to reduce the financial burden on the common man.

Meanwhile, Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari said that Punjab has once again surpassed all other provinces in providing relief. She added that Maryam Nawaz has won the hearts of the people by making public transport completely free in Punjab.

She further stated that as long as the wartime situation continues, the public will be able to travel completely free on public transport. She added that whenever it comes to providing relief in the future, Punjab will remain at the forefront, and the Chief Minister feels inner satisfaction by helping the people.

She also said that Maryam Nawaz stands with her people in every difficult time, while those claiming to be well-wishers.
