A British woman is being hailed as a hero after she saved her identical twin sister from the jaws of a 10-feet long crocodile in a Mexican lagoon. The daring woman punched the beast repeatedly in the face.

The incident happened in Puerto Escondido where 28-year old identical twins-Melissa Laurie and Georgia Laurie, were taking a swim in Manialtepec Lagoon at night.
All of a sudden, Melissa was dragged underwater and her sister found her face down on the surface several minutes later.
Georgia tried to drag her twin out of the water and took her to the boat when the crocodile attacked them again.
Intrestingly, she had heard that with some animals, one has to start hitting them to scare them away, especially when they are hunting.
The horrific crocodile came back thrice to attack Mellisa and tossed her around. However, Georgia did not give up and kept punching the crocodile with all her might.
Reportedly, the sisters had been assured by their tour guide that the lagoon was safe to enter. However, they found out later their tour guide was not registered and had taken them to swimming spot which was not recommended.
Both Georgia and Melissa are on heavy doses of intravenous antibiotics.
Doctors are concerned about the water the sisters were swimming in, as well as anything that might have been passed on from the crocodile's mouth and teeth.
Melissa has water on her lungs and a punctured lung as well. She's currently receiving help to breathe. While, Georgia suffered lacerations and bite wounds too.
Moreover, the twins have been travelling, volunteering and working in animal sanctuaries in the world since leaving the UK in March.
