Two days after Ghotki incident, another train derails in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: One bogie of Khyber Train has derailed from its tracks near Hyderabad, just two days after the Ghotki train accident that left more than 60 people dead and several other injured.
According to details, the accident occurred near Guddu Chowk in Hyderabad following which both up and down track has been closed for operations.
The train was travelling from Peshawar to Karachi.
Trains on the route have also been stopped immediately.
Rescue teams have reached the spot; however, no injuries or deaths have been reported in the mishap.
At least 62 people were killed and nearly 100 others injured after two passenger trains collided near Daharki on Monday, a city located in the Ghotki district of upper Sindh.
The accident happened at 3:30 near Ghotki district when the Millat Express coming from Karachi derailed and fall on another track. The Sir Syed Express coming from Rawalpindi collided with it and overturned causing the accident.
