The both sides review the entire gamut of bilateral relations and regional connectivity projects


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met with Kazakh Foreign Minister Murat Abugaliuly Nurtleu on the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Astana on Tuesday.
They reviewed the entire gamut of bilateral relations and regional connectivity projects.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister conveyed Pakistan's full support to Kazakhstan during its Presidency of the SCO Heads of State Council.
Ishaq Dar emphasized enhanced regional connectivity for the prosperity and development of the SCO region.
The two sides underlined the importance of regular convening of various institutional mechanisms to tap the true potential of Pak-Kazakhstan ties.
They agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in trade, regional connectivity and tourism sectors.
After conclusion of the SCO-Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has departed for Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on a working visit.
Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev is accompanying him.
In Bishkek, the Deputy Prime Minister will meet with Pakistani nationals including the Pakistani students who are under treatment for injuries as a result of the recent developments in the Kyrgyz Republic.
Ishaq Dar will share concerns of Pakistani students with the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister, including issues related to continuing their education during temporary stay in Pakistan.
