Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and others welcomed the students on their return


Karachi: The return of Pakistani students stuck in Kyrgyzstan continues.
Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) first flight PK-6260 carrying 205 students from Bishkek reached Karachi, on this occasion Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and others welcomed the students on their return.
The families of students were also present in large numbers at Karachi Airport.
From Bishkek, PIA is also operating special flights to Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Multan in phases.
It is pertinent to note that Pakistani students have returned home through several flights from Bishkek.
Speaking to the media at the airport on this occasion, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali said: “The provincial government was in constant contact regarding the return of the students, and the travel arrangements from Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan were made by the provincial government”.
He expressed gratitude to Allah for the safe return of the students. 205 students have returned, including 55 girls and 150 boys, out of which 99 belong to Karachi while the rest are from other districts of Sindh.
The students thanked Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah for taking immediate steps to return home.
