A military plane has crashed in Myanmar, killing 12 people on board.

According to Reuters, the plane has crashed near Myanmar's second-biggest city of Mandalay, killing 12 people, reportedly all military personnel.
Reportedly, the plane was flying from the capital Naypyidaw to the town of Pyin Oo Lwin and was about to land when it crashed about 300 metres (984 ft) from a steel plant.
Six military personnel and monks were on-board who were due to attend a ceremony at a Buddhist monastery. Two people, including the pilot and one passenger has survived. Both are undergoing treatment at the military’s hospital.
There were no reports of casualties among people on the ground.
The cause of crash is still unknown.
