Lahore: The heat wave continues in most of the plains of the country as the sun continues pouring fire.

Most of the districts of Sindh and Punjab are experiencing intense heat, while the mercury will reach half a century in Dadu and Mohenjo Daro today.

Apart from this, 46 to 48 degrees is expected in Nawabshah, Sukkur and Hyderabad.

The people of Lahore, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad and Sargodha will also have to face more severe hot weather.

The maximum temperature will be 43 degrees in Lahore, 41 degrees in Islamabad and Peshawar, while the maximum temperature in Karachi will be 37 degrees and the intensity will be 42 degrees.

A few places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Potohar region, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir are likely to receive rain with thundershowers.
