The 100-index gained 956 points to touch the 76,000 level for the first time

Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) 100-index hit new highs during the first trading session.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a bullish market since the opening of business on Friday and the 100-index gained 956 points to touch the 76,000 level for the first time.
At the end of the first session in the market, the 100 index remained at 76,070, which is the highest level ever.
150.32 million shares were traded in the first session during trading.
