PCB releases bilingual anthem 'Saadi Wari Oye' for T20 World Cup 2024

Lahore: In anticipation of the T20 World Cup 2024, the Pakistan Cricket Board on Saturday released an anthem titled “Saadi Wari Oye,” blending Punjabi and Urdu languages.
The recently released anthem by the Pakistan Cricket Board was sung by renowned singers Arif Lohar, Ali Azmat and Nihal Naseem.
Within just two hours of its release, the anthem garnered over 400,000 views on social media, receiving widespread acclaim.
For a long time, the Pakistani cricket fans were urging the PCB to ensure that the country's publications represent their language and culture. The inclusion of Punjabi alongside Urdu in the anthem's lyrics was highly appreciated by Pakistani fans.
In addition to the enchanting melody, the anthem's enjoyment is enhanced by scenes from the Pakistan vs. New Zealand matches and the captivating presence of Pakistani players.
Expressing their thoughts on the newly released cricket anthem, Pakistani fans are hopeful that this time, it will indeed be their turn to lift the World Cup 2024.
