A 28-year old Indian woman was allegedly set ablaze by her husband after following a heated argument over posting a video on Instagram.

The victim, Aathira was set on fire by the accused Shanavas and succumbed to her injuries at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College on Thursday.
Both were living together for a long time and have a three-month-old baby.
The couple had an altercation on Tuesday regarding posting a video on Instagram which was shot by Aathira.
Following the exchange of hot words, Shanavas poured kerosene over Aathira and set her on fire.
Along with Aathira, the accused also sustained burn injuries, the police said.
Shanavas, who have suffered about 40 percent burn injuries, is currently undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
However, on the complaint of deceased’s mother, a case has been registered against Shanavas.
