Gold price jumps by Rs700 per tola in Pakistan
The price of the yellow metal remained unchanged on Monday
Karachi: Gold prices jumped in the local bullion markets of the country on Tuesday following an increase in the international rate.
According to rates shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the per tola price of the yellow metal touched Rs241,000 after a single-day increase of Rs700, while the 10-gram gold was sold at Rs206,619 after it gained Rs600.
On Monday, gold price per tola remained unchanged in Pakistan.
The international rate of gold increased on Tuesday. As per APGJSA, the rate was set at $2,336 per ounce (with a premium of $20) after it surged by $10 during the day.
