The court said that the government should pay compensation to the father of the missing citizen before the next hearing


Islamabad: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday ordered the federal government to pay Rs3 million compensation to the father of the missing citizen.
Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb of IHC heard the petition for the recovery of Haroon Muhammad, a citizen of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who has been missing for 15 years. Additional Attorney General Munawar Iqbal Dogal appeared before the court. While, Iman Zainab Mazari appeared before the court on behalf of the petitioner.
The court said that the government should pay compensation to the father of the missing citizen before the next hearing.
On this occasion, Iman Mazari Advocate stated that the petitioner's family is receiving threats for fighting the case. On which the court directed the Inspector General (IG) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to provide security to the petitioner and file a case against the security personnel.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case for two weeks.
