Islamabad: The District and Sessions Court of Islamabad Thursday acquitted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shehryar Khan Afridi and others in the case based on the events of May 9.
The court pronounced the verdict for Shehryar Afridi in the case filed in I-9 police station on the incidents of May 9.
Judicial Magistrate Malik Muhammad Imran pronounced a protective verdict.
It is pertinent to note that Shehryar Afridi and PTI workers were booked on May 9 under the provisions of arson and vandalism.
