Heat again intensifies in Pakistan

Lahore: In the plains of the country, the intensity of heat increased again today (Friday).

According to the Department of Meteorology, the temperature is likely to be between 44 and 46 degrees in the cities of Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Dera Ismail Khan, and Bannu and Nawabshah and Larkana in Sindh.

Rain has been predicted at a few places in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Dir, Swat, various parts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

On the other hand, mercury is predicted to go up to 48 to 49 degrees today in Sibbi.
